About the Gilt Foil

Gilt-foil items use a heat-transfer process: heat melts and fixes the gold foil onto the fabric surface, with the pattern thermally transferred onto the fabric in a metallic finish.

Washing Notes

  1. Turn inside out and hand-wash in cool water below 40°C; soak for 5–6 minutes.
  2. Do not use bleach-containing detergents, and do not rub the gilt print.
  3. After washing, do not wring forcefully; air-dry naturally and avoid direct sun.

Reducing washing frequency extends the life of the gilt foil and helps maintain water repellency. Prolonged UV exposure and frequent friction may cause some gilt to come off, which is normal.
